Dallas is a 5 year old shih tzu who was hit by a car on Valentine's Day. He has a broken pelvis and dislocated rear leg. His owner had him scheduled for surgery but decided he could not afford the cost. Dallas was going to be euthanized but was surrendered to Canine Castaways instead. He had his surgery and is doing well on cage rest. He is eating well and able to walk around on his own.
